I REALLY wanted to like this game. I was SO excited for it. Unfortunately my expectations were missed by miles! I bought this game assuming it would be like previous Battlefront games. What did I find when I opened the game? 1) No campaign OR story in ANY form!? I love Star Wars games for the stories and lore they bring into the Star Wars Universe. Battlefront 2 had an amazing story and story elements, even if you just played the conquest map. There is NO story here, not in any single player mode nor the multi-player modes. I thought maybe it'd be like Titanfall where you still get some cool story in the multi-player, but NOPE, it's just mindless game modes. Now, the game play itself is fun (for a little whle at least), and the graphics are great as well as the sound, but that does NOT make up for this huge flaw. 2) This is really just Battlefield with Star Wars environments, skins, and weapons. Don't get me wrong, Battlefield is great, but if I wanted to play Battlefield more, I'd, well... play Battlefield. 3) You don't really have the freedom of being a hero or even piloting a ground or air vehicle when you want. You are in competition with the other players on finding the vehicles or power ups first and hero assignment is completely random, so don't expect to have a specialty as a pilot or a hero because chances are you won't be getting what you want each round. 4) Lack of content. There are only four maps for the "main" multi-player mode (supremacy), and a few more maps for the other modes. All maps take place over the same four planets, though. VERY skimpy for the price tag, ESPECIALLY considering the fact that there is no campaign. 5) Tons of missing game modes that were in the other Battlefront games: specifically Conquest mode!! 2/10 just because it is fun for a short time, the graphics are great, and so are the sounds. The environments are also faithful re-creations.
