If the book had been anything like this nobody would’ve bothered turning it into a movie
It’s awful. Who told them it would be a good idea to repeatedly jump around in the time line, you start in the present jump to the past, wash rinse repeat. Who told them that they should set the movie in 2020, there was no instagram in the stand.. They pretty much skipped the first few chapters, the intro and the plague are almost completely glossed over.. it’s just a jumbled mess. The character development is pitiful and they don’t do ANYTHING to get you to actually care about them.. This sucks in the worst possible way.. I hate it..
