Didn't work for me - but maybe it will for you!
I love the idea of this product! I have recently switched to a bidet and found myself reevaluating my relationship with toilet paper. Sadly, there is no electrical outlet anywhere near the toilet so I was not able to get a fancier model with a dryer on it. I still need the TP, but strictly in a blotting function. As my anatomy requires a spray and a blot both 'fore and aft, I am still using more TP than I would like. This product showed up in my "recommends", and I thought what a great idea! Here are the positives: 1. This is high quality flannel. Survived a wash and a dry like a champ. Very soft on sensitive skin. 2. Why not add a little whimsy to your bodily functions? The prints are fun. 3. I like the inclusion of the cardboard roll, and instructions for completely replacing your toilet roll on the spindle. We've all learned reflexively to reach for that TP holder, and this makes it easy. What didn't work for me... 1. I am more of a TP wadder. The flannel, being soft, does not so much wad in the hand as just... hang there. That meant that more of my bare hand made contact with the area in question when blotting. Of course I wash my hands afterward, but it was still... disconcerting. 2. Some parts of my business retained more water, which brought the absorbency of the flannel to light - specifically, that it is not especially absorbent. The "aft" portion retained less water to begin with, so these flannels actually worked a bit better for that purpose. IF you are someone who may have smaller hands, or less leftover bidet water clinging to your anatomy, this might work for you. I think specifically, these would be great for kids, whether using a bidet or not, just because they might be able to get more hand coverage. If you're not sure whether they'll work for you, I would try and cut a piece of fabric (flannel if you have it, but also a thick t-shirt material would work for demonstration purposes) to the size of these wipes, and check out the ergonomics for yourself before committing. I will likely sew two to four of these together to make a larger surface area and see how that works, and if it doesn't, will be transitioning to standard sized cotton washcloths, because I'd rather not be flushing paper down the toilet multiple times a day.
