The "patent" coating began peeling off the first day I wore them. It was a tiny area that just bubbled a bit where the shoe flexed when I walked. Well, now after having them for less than three months and wearing them maybe twice a week on average, there is so much peeling that they look pretty old and beat up. I'm so disappointed because they are SO comfortable! I work on hard hospital floors for 8 or twelve hour shifts and they keep my feet happy.
