BEWARE: There are no warnings of this anywhere, so I thought I would mention. Our puppy, Buck, had been sick and throwing up, not acting himself and not eating as much as he usually does. We were trying to figure out what was wrong with him, and nobody could provide any answers. We recently moved and he hadn't got sick in about a week so we thought it was cleared up and he was ok. Well, I found his Kong toy while I was unpacking a few things and thought he would be happy to see a toy he hadn't had in a while. The next day he started getting sick again and I noticed some red flakes in his vomit that was definitely not blood. Initially I thought he has gotten into some food or something but I could not figure out what we had that contained red flakes. I was rattling my brain trying to figure out what it was, then I started thinking what we gave him that he hadn't had since we moved and then I light went off and I realized it was the Kong toy. After doing some research, I found multiple reports of people claiming there dogs were getting sick from swallowing pieces of the Kong toy that shred off while he was chewing it. We threw this out and will not be giving him it anymore. THIS MANUFACTURER NEEDS TO PUT A WARNING ON THIS. Although, they won't, because it will potentially cost them sales.
