If you want to experience true rage, buy this printer
This printer and I were friends for the first month of its life or so. But I've come to realize that it was just building rapport to secure its spot in my office, make sure I throw away its box, then began to assault, demonically, every fiber of my mental well being and patience. Things you could use this printer for: - Inciting a riot - Identifying someone's true breaking point (especially helpful if you've just started dating) - Experimenting on your friends and family to determine their true level of patience - Turning normally calm people violent - Instrument of psychological warfare - Buddhist training device - Inspiring nostalgic thoughts of 90s office equipment and/or the movie "Office Space" - Causing breakups and divorces Things you could NOT use this printer for: - Printing - Scanning - Any other possible use case that involves getting something between a computer and a physical media. First, it apparently has a vendetta against its own wireless printing. When you press print, nothing happens at the printer for a few minutes. You print, the queue disappears from your computer, then you arrive at the printer to see that nothing is happening. Then you sit there wondering if you did, indeed, click print. 95% it works. But that 5% is enough to eliminate your trust. Once you figure out this mind game, you start bringing your laptop to the printer with you, completely negating why you're using the wireless printer in the first place. Now, your document will start printing. If it's a few pages, you'll be tempted to walk away. Don't. It has once again began to reestablish its bond with you to make sure you have part of your soul left to crush. Here's generally how good the printer feeds paper. I just printed a seven page document. This is a literal account. Page 1 - printed fine. Page 2 - claimed it's out of paper. Page 3 - Printed on roughly 20 sheets of paper. Page 4-6 printed fine. Page 7 - claims it's once again out of paper. If you're only printing one-page documents, it will almost assuredly claim it's out to make sure you come pay it a visit and give it the love and attention it desperately needs. Seriously. This printer will break you. It will drive you mad with its incessant claim that it needs paper, regardless of how you load it or how much it has. It will break you down, remind you of the days of your first printer and its same issues from 20 years ago, and laugh at you as you bring your laptop to serve it up pages to print wirelessly. I try to reserve one-star reviews for those products that catch on fire or those that you wish would. This has worked hard to make it into this prestigious category. Never again, printer. Never again. UPDATE 5/27/2014 - After battling with this printer for six months and using more curse words than I realized I knew, the printer finally ended its pointless, infuriating life. It did not catch on fire (somewhat to my disappointment), but it did emit painful-sounding screeches as it ground to a halt. UPDATE 8/15/2014: It seems some find this unhelpful because, yes, there's a bit of hyperbole and nonsense involved. But the very real fact is that this printer had about a 5% success rate for functioning correctly from start to finish, to include connecting with the computer, feeding paper, and printing only on one sheet. And it genuinely did end itself on 5/27. I was not disappointed. I received this printer from the manufacturer in exchange for my (clearly) honest feedback and review.
