The frame broke!
It worked fine until it broke catastrophically and pitched me backward onto the floor. You get what you pay for. It lasted about 20 months, but this failure mode could seriously injure someone. As a bonus, the tension cords are starting to fray. I’m 5’9”, 165lbs. This shouldn’t happen.
