Unfortunately, I think this book is a scam. Read…
The bio says it’s 9 books put together by a 100 yr old daughter of a shaman. This author does not in any way speak like they are anything but young. They sure know a lot about living in the modern world for their supposed history traveling from tribe to tribe. There is absolutely zero info about the author online. Zero. Go look. They use stock photos- including one of a modern white woman dressed up in traditional Native American clothing doing a ceremony to point to the importance of spirituality. I’m sorry, but a Native American woman/ shamans daughter did not write this book. They would have never let someone put that picture there. The photos of the herbs are in black and white. You can’t identify herbs that way. They use a ton of essential oil recipes (this is not traditional native medicine,) on babies!!, and never once mention to dilute oils, and also condone use of peppermint and eucalyptus on babies and small children, which is not safe. There is a ton of info you can tell is just copy and pasted from the internet. This person did work very very hard to make their book seem legitimate, I’ll give that to them. Once you have it in your hands and begin to read through the actual recipes, you’ll be disappointed. I’d pay $10 for it and it’s going for close to $100 at Barnes and noble. I’m sure there are much better books out there. Also why do they copy 5 star reviews from Amazon on their publishing notes (which are mostly straight copied from their book) instead of reviews from herbalists, etc?…
