I bought this after reading so many positive review. I'm left wondering if they sent the right product or a cheap fake product. First of all, the earphones that came FREE with my sandisk mp3 player sounds better than this. This is the first product made in Germany that I'm not satisfied with. The sound quality is very poor. It sounds like it's coming from very far away and dull. It's not clear at all. When you turn up the volume, there is a lot of distortion. Bass is completely nonexistent. Even on an equalizer there is hardly any bass. I read reviews saying that this bass is "fantastic" and there's "a lot of bass". I am wondering if this is the same product? The highs and mids...it's hard to describe but it sounds like a sort of "muted effect" and sort of muddy. I have no clue what people see in this. It sounds worse than any headphones or earphones I have tried on and I hate when you look at reviews for headphones, this is one of the first headphones that people recommend. It sounds like music is coming out from an old car radio. It is also really uncomfortable. It clamps closely to your ears but it a minor issue compare to the sound quality. The cord is also really long and annoying. The only good thing is that it feels sturdy but it is a complete waste of money.
