The case itself is decent. Sleek design, and the textured border does add a good amount of grip. The back material is decent at hiding fingerprints and smudges. It may be a cheaper case, but I’ve been a Smartish fan for a while and am disappointed that this year’s case is much more of a “get what you pay for” situation. My biggest complaint is the magnet on this one. It’s bulging out of the back while also putting pressure against the back of the phone. Yeah it’s annoying to feel as it sits right where my finger falls when holding it… but I don’t feel comfortable at all having a concentrated pressure point digging into the back (regardless of the material). I’ve had other MagSafe cases with a similar situation, but it was much less pronounced and always in the 6 o’clock position (shown here at ~2 o’clock). Also as you can see in the photo… it lets in a lot of dust and debris - seemingly more so than previous versions. Not a complaint (typical for open/slim cases) but just a heads up to those more particular than I am about such things.
