Stay Away From This Product!
First of all, out of curiosity, I thought I'd give these a try, but these syringes are the worst Chinese plastic garbage I've ever seen. About as cheaply made as they could possibly be. They're hard stiff plastic and push in very rough because there's no smooth rubber "o" ring like any decent quality syringe has, just plastic against plastic. Second, the solution has sodium in it which IS NOT SAFE for animals! Third, most of the solution is a jelly like glycerin. GARBAGE! Stay away from these syringes and this kind of solution. Forget this junk and do what I've been doing successfully. You know those ear cleaning kits you can buy for yourself? It comes with a little flexible rubber bulb with a skinny stem for inserting in your ear to flush out your ear of wax? That's a perfect enema tool for your cat. It's soft, flexible and just long enough to insert into the cat. Squeeze it and insert it into a small container of just plain warm water, release it and it will suck up about 14-18ml of the warm water which is a good amount for an enema. Lube the stem of the bulb (simple & gentle hand cream is fine) and insert into your cat and squeeze the bulb (not fast and hard though) to insert the water. Give your cat 5-10 minutes near his box and if nothing then do it just one more time. Then BOOM! It WILL work perfectly. I do it in the bathroom with Spooky lying on his side. I have the cat box in the tub. After the enema I put him in the tub next to the box. I keep him in the bathroom until he goes which all 4 times has been within 4-8 minutes. This little soft flexible bulb is gentle on him and just plain warm water works with no worry of issues from crazy chemicals. Trust me now and believe me later, this method is gentle and it works.
