When I first got the toy, I was really happy with how excited my cat and kitten was with it but I soon quickly felt there were a few major flaws with it. 1) Minor complaing, though the instructions say that the bug will right itself when upside down, it doesn't really. It gets stuck in a corner or upside down you have to pick it up and fix it. 2) Even when you keep an eye on the cats, the back of the toy comes off very easily, as I very quickly found out. My cats got it off with a few quick chews and had swallowed about half of it before I could get my hands down there, despite me monitoring their play time with the toy. This happened very quickly, so the cover came off super easily. To me no.2 is a major flaw. This is a huge safety hazard, not to mention that the tiny battery in it, can also be consumed by the cat easily. The parts should not come off this easily.The plastic and battery can be so dangerous to your cats. I wouldn't recommend it, unless your cat does not like to catch with their mouth. A bit disappointed that they have not thought through the safety of our pets.
