7-second NAG warning if you use any external speaker / sound system. Samsung knows, and they won't fix firmware.
Be forewarned potential Samsung TV buyers . . . IF you plan to use any 'external speaker' system (sound system, speaker bar (Sonos, ZVOX, Bose, any external speaker at all) - connected to a Samsung "Smart" TV and you adjust the volume (regardless of what you are watching), you will receive a 7-second NAG WARNING dead center blocking the TV image...7 seconds PER button push on the volume up down or mute. This NAG screen -cannot- be disabled in settings, and Samsung support says the nag pop-up is "necessary" to remind people that an external speaker is attached, which is about the most incredibly stupid design decision a TV maker could make. It literally ruins the viewing experience ESPECIALLY for real-time sports because the nag popup blocks the action for 7 seconds. Remember, if you use ANY external sound system, you will get a 7-second NAG screen popup every time you touch the volume control - dead center in the TV image (see photo). It cannot be circumvented or turned off.
