I have been using one of these "pillers" for years for my cat. The first one was given to me by a local vet; it had a light green tip and was truly a godsend for giving an animal pills. When that first one wore out after *many years* of good use, I got a new one from another vet, but the new one had a dark blue tip and DID NOT WORK AT ALL like the original! The plunger was very rigid and did not operate smoothly; hence, the pill would get stuck in the tip and not eject into the animal's mouth. So I returned it and finally found a replacement for the original one with a light green tip. When I went on Amazon to replace it recently, I saw the Jorgensen Pet Piller, and it had the same light green tip in the photos of the item, so I ordered two of them (@ $4.99 each). When the pillers arrived, they were not the one I thought I was buying; these also have a dark blue tip and have the same problem as the one I returned previously. They are not well made, do not operate smoothly, and don't deliver the pill into the cat's mouth as advertised. When I went back on Amazon to return this, it says, "Item not eligible for return." A TOTAL RIP-OFF AND FALSE ADVERTISING! BUYER BEWARE!
