These geodes were tiny ! Most were barely quarter sized. I bought 2 packs (24 rocks in all) and only 2-3 were actually hollow. The rest-being solid - were really hard to break. I even used a 3 pound hammer - the geode wrapped in a sock - and the whole thing resting on a steel I beam. The few that actually were hollowed with crystals simply exploded. I would never buy these again - nor would I recommend them to anyone.
