We ordered this product and was very excited about getting it. We read all the instructions before doing anything. The ice maker produced about 5 ice cubes, stopped and then it started smelling hot. We unplugged it and tried a different outlet. We again got 5 ice cubes and then it started smelling hot again. We got in touch with Amazon, who said that we could not return the product, as it has hazardous materials in it, so we were not able to get a replacement. They said they would give us a refund, which would take 3-5 business days. It was a big disappointment! I wanted to share this with people so they are aware of what could happen to them.
