I would not recommend this brand. Our Golden is 14 years old and has had several dog boots, and none injured him except these. Proper fitting (typically) requires using larger booties on the front legs than on the rear. Even being precise about fitting these, they caused abrasions and sores underneath both of our dog's dewclaws (the claws on sides of front legs), one of which got badly infected and cost hundreds of $$$ to cure. Although the boot was fitted over and above the dewclaw when secured, there is a slit in the boot that the dewclaw makes its way out of (from natural motion of dog walking), and the bottom of the slit material (wedge of hard nylon) then rides up underneath the dewclaw, causing the pinch abrasions, sores, and injuries.
