One of the dumber things I have seen...
Mr. Brook's mistake is he does not understand that people choose to work for corporations, themselves in other words, because it is a good and noble thing to do. He wants the government to subsidize him, with money taken by force from companies, so he can sit around and contemplate his naval while looking down on the working people who feed, cloth, house, and protect all of us. The corporations he hates so much have increased each individual's wealth, health, choices, knowledge, and just about everything else that is good in life, beyond anyone's dreams. The only role the government had in this era of prosperity was ensuring stability and getting out the way; government produces nothing. This sort of spoiled and self-loathing attitude is inevitable in a time of such plenty. Those of us who are hard at work creating wealth and providing for others see through such nonsense. Get a job, Mr. Brooks
