I loved how unobtrusive these camera covers were on my new MacBook Pro. They looked liked they were part of the computer and they were super easy to use. About a month after having these on my computer I noticed a crack on my screen right under the cover. When I went to further investigate I touched the screen and it went black. My whole display was unresponsive and all I could see was an internal crack along the screen. I didn’t think there was a correlation between the cover and the damage until I looked through these reviews. I’ve realized that others have had the same problem as me, with the exact same crack in the exact same position. These camera covers are not worth the cost of having to get your whole display replaced. Please be careful when using.
