The story line is good, the characters well developed. However, this writer digresses into left wing rants which detract VERY much from the story line. He is definitely on the attack against Rush Limbaugh and conservative media reporting. Now, I don't have a problem with anyone's politics, but this guy can't leave it alone, to the point that it becomes grandstanding. He needs to write in some other format regarding his venomous political leanings. A good writer wouldn't try to use his characters to vent his own spleen. THAT SAID, he needs to stop saying THAT SAID so many times. But that's easily fixed. His other issues are probably just passive aggression taking over...not easily fixed. Where was his editor? I won't follow this author.
