The instructions say to measure you dog's "girth" just behind the front legs. My springer spaniel pul is 19 inches, which should make her a small. The lead came, I removed the plastic ties and tried to put it on her. No joy. I re-measured her and was correct, so I measured the harness. It's only 17 inches wide. How is it supposed to fit around a dog's chest measuring 18 to 24 inches? And at $35, it's not exactly a throw-away purchase. I should at least be allowed to exchange for size as their sizes are clearly mislabeled.
