I originally gave these a good review. However, here in Minnesota, we just had our first snow. I will NOT wear these boots again. The snow and slush clings to the soles, builds up in frozen layers to INCHES thick. You have to pound on the soles to get the build up off! I am 69 years old and my ankles and knees are in tough shape. This build up makes walking nearly impossible. When I went into my garage, I nearly fell as the accumulation made walking on the smooth concrete floor VERY dangerous. I have worn them in the snow once, now they are going in the garbage dumpster, $50 wasted!! In all fairness, these would be better with a rubber, or gummed rubber sole. The soles are hard, maybe PVC, nasty in wet, icy snow
