Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Due to the price, features, and brand I was excited to receive these, even though they had a long lead time. I plugged them in, and the sound was great. The rgb is subtle and works well, and the design is pleasing. The next part is why I am giving 1 star. These speakers have their own power source to an outlet. You then use usb to pc to generate your sound. Seems normal, except the usb is back feeding power to my pc, even when it is shut down. I am now trouble shooting my pc to ensure it did not cause any damage, but this can be critical to a system if not noticed. It is also hopefully a dud, and not a flaw in the design. I am awaiting answers from Edifier and will update once I have answers. Update to issue above: Reached out to Edifier and they confirmed that the speakers should not be back feeding power to the pc. They stated I should do a replacement order, which I did. All well, except the new speakers have the same issue. At this point I am either very unlucky, or there is a quality issue with their current manufacturing process.
