I would love to give this product 5 stars because my 6 month old kitten LOVES these things like you wouldn't believe. But unfortunately they have EXTREMELY sharp edges which have now wreaked havoc with her gums. I had to take her to the vet today, and was told to immediately stop using this toy, and was shown the messed up state her bleeding gums are in. It's such a shame, because my cat was obsessed with them, but they are, unfortunately, dangerous, and you should NOT GIVE THESE TO YOUR CAT!!!!! Edit: I have since found these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00025YVPI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which my cat loves just as much, but they have no hazardous sharp edges that will harm your cat. I HIGHLY recommend them, and again, please, for your pet's sake, do not buy those other springs, they are dangerous.
