Basically you get what you pay for here.....nice looking/feel good in the hand but......after 3 months of daily use the "coating" is wearing off. See attached pic. These are pretty much painted to look like high end ceramic knives that are popular right now. Im shopping for replacements because who knows what the coating is made of and whether or not its ending up in the food I cook. For what its worth I sharpened a couple of them after about a months use and they sharpened up fine. If I could do over I'd skip these and get something that will last.
