Who ever created the cast for this show knew nothing about the books. Jordan's books had plenty of diversity without inventing it. Not a single two rivers lady was cast correctly. Not a single one. Lan nope, where is Thom? Perrin, nope, Mat not really, Rand could have been but whining he was not, dude is too stiff and unlikable. Rand became dark and brooding over time as he fought off the insanity over a long period of time. However he was kind and friendly in the beginning which was a massive part of the book was him finding peace with himself. Even without the casting it is a bit of a mess, and nothing to do with the books besides names. The beginning had nothing to do with the books. The books were mysterious and unknown and revealed plots and characters over time. This is typical garbage created by people with very little understanding of the story. None of the Aes Sedai look like Aes Sadai. Pike is too old and has no ageless face. Production seems to be on par with something like ZNation budget....
