★☆☆☆☆
Don't bother
This book is pretty awful. The topics jump around with little cohesive transition. The content is shallow and relies on the associated code you must download. That code is buggy and frequently doesn't run. The code often just calls 3rd party libraries without explaining the algorithms. This is perhaps an "applied algorithms" book for MBA students to get a shallow introduction to what algorithms are and how to use some common python libraries to solve biz problems. It's not a book for engineers.
