Holy moly! I have been shaving with an electric razor for over 25 years. I shave once a day, usually in the morning. By quitting time, I have a 5 O' Clock shadow and by the next morning I have to shave or I will look like a hobo at work. I would say I have average to thick beard hair. It's not wispy by any means, but it's not like a wire either. Beard trimmers and electric razors have no problem cutting my hair. Here is the reason I purchased the OneBlade... When I shave on Friday morning, I would say the majority of the time, I will not shave again until Monday morning when I am getting ready for work. If I wait that long, the hair on my face will be too long for the electric razor alone and I will first have to use a beard trimmer to knock it down. This is OK, but time consuming and it does not get close enough to call it a full shave, so I have to go over it again with my Remington afterwords. If I just used the electric rotary, it would be pulling the hair like crazy, which as most of you reading this know, is very painful. I saw enough videos and advertisements for the OneBlade claiming that it would cut any length hair without pulling. This was what really attracted me to the device. I figured that for these Monday mornings I could use this thing and go on my way without the two step process I usually go through, and avoid the painful pulling. BOY WAS I WRONG! So I ordered this on Amazon Prime, with the two day shipping, which never seems to be 2 day anymore, considering they are giving everyting to the USPS who are unreliable at best... this is something I will be taking up with Amazon... anyway, I received the shaver on Saturday and charged it up. My plan was to get up on Monday, trust the razor and then just go to work. Here I am, Sunday after having just destroyed my face typing this review. I am so glad I tried this tonight as opposed to tomorrow morning. This POS destroyed my neck and actually nicked my skin in two spots, drawing blood! WTF! Not only is my neck red, it's burning like a MOFO even after two applications of Aloe gel!!! I am not only extremely unimpressed with this product, I am pissed!!! Like I stated above, I have been shaving with electric rotery style shavers for over 25 years, and those take some getting used to. I NEVER look like this after using one... even a brand new one. Not only did it destroy my face, but the shave is spoty and not close at all. For real, trust me... this thing is a mess. It's going right back into the box and back to Amazon.
