Poor ejection spout design!!!
Poor pulp ejection design July 31, 2011
Reviewer: B.Hunt from East Tennessee
After watching many you tube videos I decided on this because of the variety of produce it could handle and it's relative fast feeding speed. Let me say you'd better LOVE lots of pulp.
Here is the problem: the pulp ejector spout gets clogged very easily!! !!!!!!!This leads to a large amount of pulp extract going into your juice. I normally like pulp, but this is somewhere in between juice and puree'. I know your probably thinking to yourself that I'm just trying to jam a bunch of produce in at a fast rate and this is what causing my problems. No no, not at all. I do feed only one item at a time, let it clear and then add another item. Also, I cut up things such as celery, kale or collards and yet the ejection spout still gets clogged up easily!!!! The overall design just lends itself toward this problem. There are times when I juice, midway into juicing, I have to disassemble the entire thing and unclog and clean it. Also u will have to use a strainer. All of which really increases the amount of time and cleanup mess. This is not what I paid a premium $400 price tag for. Consider yourself warned.
