We purchased this item based partly on the reviews here. We paid extra for overnight delivery. The item arrived ok and we unboxed and plugged it in. This unit initialized correctly and then the cold air came out. Ahhh. This is going to be just what we need. It ran for 15 seconds and then the compressor shut down. The fan kept running. We tried it different locations thinking it might be a power problem. It is not. We called Product Support only to sit on hold with no one to answer the phone. It may well be that this is a good product but you roll the dice if you get one of the good ones. We ordered this on Amazon Prime and paid for next day delivery. That all went fine. We were going to ask for a replacement but then found out that to get a replacement takes 3 to 5 weeks. Huh? What? You can get me the product in 1 day but it takes 5 weeks to replace it? What's up with that?
