I have a senior dog that had issues with luxating patella's in both back legs. I had used VertriScience products before for his heart and had been happy with them. I was looking for something to help with his luxating patella issues and naturally looked to VetriScience products. Less than a week after starting this product, my dog developed a horrible, scab like rash all over his body and started to have clumps of hair peeling off his back. It came on very quickly. I discontinued the product immediately. I brought him to my vet who did a biopsy and referred me to their Veterinary Dermatologist. He was diagnosed with a skin condition named Erythema Multiforme (EM). When I found out what he had I did further reading. I read a few articles that stated an underlying cause of EM can stem from adverse reactions to medications or nutriceuticals such as Glycoflex. He is currently being treated by a Veterinary Dermatologist. The Veterinary Dermatologist believes the reaction to related to this supplement. It looks like most people have had a positive experience with this product. I just wanted to share what happened in my situation. Hopefully this is rare. It unfortunately has caused my dog to be in a terrible condition and cost me hundreds of dollars in vet costs. My dog at this point has lost almost his entire coat and is still healing from the lesions. What hair he hasn't lost has scab like skin behind it and is about to fall out. This has been a terrible experience and my dog has a very long road of recovery ahead of him.
