We purchased the 9500 unit to be our whole home generator for our new house trying to save a couple thousand off one of the Generac units. Big mistake!!! We have lost power three times since I purchased and this unit has only worked once. the first time we got it. The second time it would not start, and the most recent time it started up, but no power coming out. I called tech support the first time it didn't work and was told that they would call me back in 24 hours.... they did not. This last time I was told they only work Monday thru Thursday and they can take message. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a Generac whole house generator.
