I was searching for white vases after some remodeling and these looked interesting. Good reviews and a reasonable price (although, I'm very intrigued by the price difference in this size and the large?) pushed me to give them a try. At first I was thrilled - but closer look brought disappointment. CONS: - The two I received don't look like they are a "set".... The accent/trim of shorter/globe shaped one has a flat surface and the same area on the larger one has a rough/pebbled finish - it's like the smaller one missed a phase on the assembly line. - Both of mine only have one drainage hole. Again, quality control/factory issue. - There is a stain on the trim portion of the larger pot - looks like a water mark(?) - more quality control/factory issue. PROS: - The crackle glaze finish is beautiful. If only they matched! - The size is nice for the $$. - Nice thickness for ceramic pots. - Uniform shape (perfectly symmetrical). I'm returning them because they don't look like they are part of a "set" and that's what I was looking for. The other issues are secondary - and probably wouldn't bother me if I weren't looking for them to match. Again, for $30 they're a good buy. If they matched I would keep them in a heartbeat. May try to buy another set and see what I end up with!
