I bought this because I am chronically ill and cannot be lugging water through the snow to my coop. However, it does not work. It never heats up. I had contacted the company about this and they said I had to do a the "freezer test". So I did and it did not heat up. They then told me to return it to them, at my expense, for a replacement. So I did, which was a huge pain in the butt for me to do. After a couple of weeks I got a box from them that looked suspiciously like the box I had returned. I was right. Farm Innovators so kindly sent me my broken heater back with a note telling me there is nothing wrong with it. So I thought ok I will try it again and I put it back in my coop. Well, it is 22 degrees out this morning inside the coop and this heater is cold as the snow outside. So now, I am out the price of the heater as well as the price of the shipping to return it to them and I will have to pay to purchase something from another company. I am sorry to say that dealing with Farm Innovators has been a very bad experience for me and I cannot recommend this product or this company to anyone. It takes me a long time to save up the money to get the things I need, as I cannot work, and now to be out this amount of money and still have no heater is a financial hardship for me. I have to start saving all over again and hope that the next heater I purchase will actually work. In the meantime, I hope I do not get injured dragging water from my kitchen to my coop.
