The product arrived quickly and in perfect condition. And I supposed if contrasted with fresh ground coffee stored in the open air, such as in a bowl on a countertop, the Coffeevac probably does keep coffee fresh 3x longer. But don't be mislead by the hype. The Amazon product page calls it 'The Ultimate Vacuum Sealed Coffee Container' and the product description boasts, 'patented vacuum closure system'. Neither of these are true. Coffeevac creates an <b>air tight</b> seal, not a vacuum seal. When the lid is on, air is trapped inside with your coffee; it is not evacuated as the term 'vacuum sealed' implies. Words matter! Coffeevac seems to work ok for what it is, but I'm feeling ripped off. You could accomplish the same thing by storing your coffee in a Mason jar or Tupperware container.
