This light is NOT full spectrum. And NOT FOR PLANTED TANKS. I purchased this in January 2020 as a replacement for the florescent light on my planted tank. I am writing this review June 2020, so this review is based on ACTUAL EXPERIENCE and real performance, not simply "initial impression." If you just want a pretty light - this does the job. Bright, easy to install, etc. However, it is NOT FULL SPECTRUM and if used on a planted tank your plants will not survive. (I've had this planted tank for over 6 years, healthy, growing, and I changed nothing in my routine except the light.) Healthy plants looked sick after a couple weeks, and continued to decline. Description is misleading. For planted tanks - DO NOT BUY THIS.
