Uncomfortable seat/backrest
I so wanted to love this stroller. The 2 stars I gave went all to the compact folded size and the easy folding mechanism. Bought it and kept it for 3 weeks, trying every way to make it work comfortably for my 9-month old, but at last we gave up and returned it. We were so in love with the easy close/open mechanism of this stroller. No other stroller out on the market could compare to it. Using one hand, you can easily close the stroller by just pulling up the bar at the bottom and to open, you just need to pull out the handle bar and the remaining of the stroller will follow. And it's folded size is so compact that it's even smaller than my diaper bag. The weight is also acceptable to be carried on shoulder, with the shoulder strap attached to the stroller. Maneuver is easy and smooth, even with the small wheels. I don't expect much of the storage with this compact size of a stroller, so I have no complaint. However, the one major problem that made us returned the stroller was the seat. I wouldn't have noticed the seat problem if I didn't put my own child on. The seat, where the baby sits on, is too flat. The seat pocket isn't deep enough to hold my baby's bottom securely. Or you can say, there is no "seat pocket" at all. The sitting area is flat and the back rest is made with a wrong angle to go with the flat seat. So, my baby either kept slipping down and all slumped or had to sit herself up straight to make herself more comfortable. Either way was a pain for her. Slipping down and all slumped made all her weight gathered at the buckle. It was only the bucket holding her whole body from slipping out of the stroller. And sitting herself up straight all the time was worse, it created safety issues. Her back would not touch the back rest and so her neck lacked support the whole time when I was pushing the stroller. She couldn't stay in the stroller for more than 10 mins. After 10 mins, she would either struggled to sit up or lie down with a more comfortable position. I tried all the recline angles but none worked to make a comfortable seat. My baby would start screaming after 15 mins if she was still buckled in the Yoyo. :( We tried it out for 3 weeks, with different reclining positions and on different types of roads; We even did some modification to make the seat a better seat (like, trying to put a folded towel in the front of the seat near the food rest, so to make the seat pocket deeper), but still, nothing worked. So we had no choice but to return it. We still like Yoyo a lot in terms of the compact size and the easy fold, and we would even be willing to keep it if my baby wasn't crying in it. However, no luck, babies know what's best for their own comfort. Attached is the picture of my baby sitting in Yoyo. The lower right bottom was her sitting in the most upright position of the stroller. Her back couldn't rest on the back due to the wrong angle or the seat and the backrest and she had to sit up to make herself sit comfortably. The upper right picture was her slipping down and all slumped. I unbuckled her and wanted to pull her back up and tried sitting again, but then I remembered to take a picture first. So she wasn't buckled up in the picture, but her position was exactly like this when she was buckled. And she was sitting in a halfway reclined.
