Even though I purchased this through Amazon, instead of a third party seller, the item was fake. I have used the original biosilk therapy serum for years now (buying it from Ulta) and saw that Amazon had the item at a great deal but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I should've known this deal was too good to be true but was totally convinced by the sheer number of good reviews for this product. Upon receiving the item, I noticed that the seal on top of the bottle was very cheaply put on with a semi matte silver - instead of the usual heavier quality seal. The item also seemed to be more liquid-y than the original so I grabbed the remainder of what I had left from the bottle I purchased from Ulta and indeed, this was less thick and seemed watered-down. Furthermore, the scent of this product, while mimics the original, this noticeably contains way too much alcohol. And lastly, I compared the texts of this bottle with the one I had and the ingredient list is not the same. Granted, there are different Sellers on here, even through Amazon, but the one I received was definitely not real. Please do your due diligence and check the product that you receive with one that you KNOW is real.
