This product is good except for its least anticipated flaw: the power cord heats up so much that it could melt, causing possible danger of burns or electric shock. After using this electric kettle once a day for several months, I had to pull the plug on it to avoid possible danger from the overheating power cord! I do NOT recommend this product unless the manufacturer of SECURA succeeds in solving the overheating power cord problem.
