I changed my previous high-rating review of this after some more research as well as a horrifying experience. The Material is standard cloth/string and a MAJOR hazard for bird feet and talons once the material starts to wear. 2 days ago my Cockatiel got its' front-right talon trapped in some of the material, freaked out, and broke most of the nail clean off, blood everywhere and on the poor bird too. Luckily it clotted well enough but it traumatized her for a couple of days and I took it out as soon as I realized that's what happened, and will not be using it again. She's doing better now, but her front right claw is noticably broken and a bit swollen still. Beware materials like this when your bird is unsupervised!
