This was a great colander while it lasted. Unfortunately one of the handles popped off after a year and therefore past the warranty. We always hand cleaned...never put it in a dishwasher. After searching reviews it appears this has happened to others as well. Like I said, loved it while it lasted, although I will not purchase again. Also, the I emailed the company and they did respond so that is a bonus, but they said they could not offer anything because it was outside the warranty. Fair enough, but I like cooking products to last a bit longer than a year.
