Soooo...why wouldn't I just get a t-clap (about $1.50), a piece of pipe which I cut to size (about $1 per foot), a carriage bolt (about .85), and a cap (about .95). Oh, wait. I did. And it's stronger, more modular (you can cut pipe to 1 foot or 3, or pick your size- and that takes about 30 seconds with a hack saw) and you can replace failing parts without throwing the whole thing. This *might* be a deal at about 1/3 the price. Just sayin...
