Buyer Beware if Your Seat Backs are not True Vertical We had two of the earlier version of this seat which worked very well in the rear seat of our SUV's. They had a true frame with either wood or manufactured wood as part of the framework and they hung very nicely from the headrest, even though the seatback was raked backwards. After using them for two dogs over many years the cloth had been worn by the dogs and we tried to purchase new cloth inserts, but they were no longer being manufactured. We then ordered one of these pet boosters which does not have the true frame with the wood/manufactured wood. It would not hang vertically from the headrest with a backward raked seat back. Our dog was very unhappy with a tilted floor. I called the manufacturer to try to solve the problem and they had no solution to offer, so I returned this item to Amazon. Beware purchaser if your seat back is not at a true 90 degree vertical My solution was to purchase the Solvit Deluxe Pet Safety Seat which sits on the seat instead of hanging from the headrest...and it is held in place with the seatbelt. It has a frame with a rake to it that accounts for the seat slope.
