I received this keyboard case a little over two months ago and loved it. It's very solid, and the backlit and shortcut function keys were a nice feature. However, after two months of use, I noticed a white line appearing on my iPad pro screen where the keyboard palm rest makes contact with the iPad when closed. I thought it could be wiped away, as it was possibly skin cells or dirt. However, after much scrubbing and attempts to remove it, I realized the keyboard case actually scratched this white line across my iPad. Additionally, the plastic sides of the case where the iPad connects in are beginning to crack (photo attached), even though I've been very careful when putting it on the iPad. For this cost, this is completely unacceptable. I bought a case to protect my $1,000 investment, and now the screen is permanently damaged. DO NOT purchase this unless you have a screen cover on your iPad! And even then, the fit is so snug, I'm not sure a screen cover would work. I'm disappointed because, like I said earlier, I loved this case. But the scratching and cracking cannot be put up with. I had to invest another $170 to purchase the Apple keyboard case, as I need a keyboard for work.
