Regardless if you like the concept of the Smart Cover or not, this product is a knockoff. This was advertised as an Apple iPad 2 smart cover. At first I thought it was defective because the material had bubbles in it, but upon further inspection I noticed it looked different than the real smart cover - having already owned one. I ended up going to the Apple store and purchasing a real cover in the same pink color. There were many differences....The ridges of the folds are much more defined on the real version, the pink color had more of a gray tone on the knockoff, the 4 plateaus reach much further out to the edge on the fake one, the poly-material has a different texture, the metal parts are a slightly different color. This product feels cheaper than the real one. I am very unhappy with my purchase and am upset that they try to make you think it is made by Apple. It comes in the Apple box and it has the same markings but when you put them side to side, they are decidedly not the same.
