Let me start by saying I purchased this product from the E'TAE website and not Amazon. I loved this product at first. It left my hair bouncy, and really helped with combating the humidity. That fresh bouncy fluffy feeling doesn't last long by the way maybe three days max. I shortly noticed after using the products for several weeks that my scalp became very itchy and dry and then it happened... I started loosing my hair. Every time I would shampoo my hair I would loose an excessive amount of hair. More then the norm. At first i thought nothing of it, I thought maybe its my shedding season. But it continued for about 2-3 months, it got worse and worse. I should have stopped way before I did. I called E'Tae and spoke with someone. I wont give her name but we'll call her G for the sake of the review. G told me that it wasn't their products causing my problems, and we're supposed to shed daily (duh, but this wasn't typical shedding) she told me I was heat damaging my hair. Ok let me say this.... I've been doing my hair routine the same exact way for the past 10-15 years! Aint never once damaged it, now your telling me IM ruining my hair. Literally the only thing I changed in my regimen was adding E'TAE. G had me really confused... So I gave her the benefit of the doubt, I went heatless for a few months, did lots of roller sets and braids while still using the ETAE products (just didnt do heat styling) my hair still continued to shed and become thin. ALSO my curl pattern changed!!!!! I've been 100% natural for about 12 years and the right side of my head looked like ramen noodles! It was terrible!!!!!!!! My hair was stringy, and the curls no longer had life. So at this point I'm thinking ok its time to see a doctor... doctor does blood work to check hormones and vit levels, ect... everything was fine. Test results came back normal. After all of that I have concluded that my hair loss was due to this product. Many of you probably would have figured it out long before I did but I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I can no longer wear pony tails because my "hang time" is scrawny and thin. I'll be cutting my hair and starting over. Thanks E'TAE.
