First off-I’m returning this thing. I have battery operated everything for yard tools, including my lawn mower. I was looking forward to the features they boast about. However, nothing and I mean nothing about the string assembly makes sense. It’s frustrating and I really dont want to spend half my day clicking the power on and off to advance the string a 1/4”! Especially since it’s a weak, thin string to begin with. It wears down so fast that it is pointless to try to trim and edge. I have a small yard and gave up halfway through. My old 12V Black and Decker ran circles around this thing. Seriously, dont buy it!
