We liked the rocks for the first few months. After about the 10th use of our new fire pit on what i would consider low to medium flame suddenly loud popping occured. Soon after we heard the lava rocks falling back down to the ground. They basically exploded and shot out of the pit. After one more night of thinking it was maybe an isolated incident, we had 5-6 rocks pop, shoot out like bullet on fire. And land on the new couch, the roof literally, and too close to family. I never write reviews but i surely would not risk it with these lava rocks. Nothing against the company. Maybe got a bad bag. Regardless this was a serious safety risk.
