I bought this bed for my dog with Cushing’s and with bad hips. I was hoping for a bed that is comfortable for him and would help with his comfort level. The foam is just that, foam. It’s not a memory foam.... Foam. This bed is NOT for people looking for something to alleviate their dogs pain when they sleep. I was expecting something close to the human foam comfort for the price. The cover is durable and better for younger dogs that are hard on beds. I’ll give them that. It is very durable, but with durable, it’s stiff and thick, not cozy. My dogs won’t use it and neither will my cats. This is a durable bed, not a comfortable bed to help with the aches and pains of our pets that are uncomfortable when they sleep. It is the best constructed bed I’ve seen, so if you have dogs in good health that are hard on beds, this is for you. If you are looking for comfort for your pups with aches and pains, this is probably the bed for you.
