Buyer beware. You MUST supervise your cats at ALL times with this toy. Let my experience serve as a vital warning. Yes, my cat loved this toy. It is being sent back for a refund. Fortunately I was nearby when the incident occured. I was in the bathroom at the time and heard a loud clanking and banging outside the door. My cat had managed to get the wand which is attached to just enough rope/string to get the whole toy tangled around her neck and I immediately went chasing after as she was horribly traumatized by crashing hard into nearby walls and defecating in the process. I wouldn't have thought this toy could be a strangle hazard and I thank God I was nearby at the time she got tangled up. I'm a fan of SmartyKat brand cat products but I will be reaching out to their corporate office very soon to be a voice for this item to be modified for better safety or discontinued. UPDATE 11/27/20 Just wanted to add that to this date, months later, having attempted to contact SmartyKat by phone AND email there is zero response.
